Through the implementation of the project, we also want to emphasize the contribution of Poland to the climate transformation, which was developed during the COP24 climate conference in Katowice.

Declaration – DRIVING CHANGE TOGETHER – a joint initiative of Poland and Great Britain, which draws attention to the role of zero-emission transport in the process of transforming the transport sector in order to achieve climate goals and build a better future.

JUST TRANSITION AND SOLIDARITY – this is one of the effects of COP24 – fair transformation of regions that will undergo profound changes as a result of the decarbonisation of the energy sector, it is also the role of electromobility as a driving force for economic changes in the regions.

During the project, we will collect signatures of representatives of countries, cities and regions, non-governmental organizations, the media as well as other people who support the idea of establishing the World Electromobility Day by the United Nations.

During the first edition, nearly 1,000 participants and 5,000 recipients of communication took part during the tour and the final at the COP25 Madrid conference.

We assume that this year’s edition will repeat the achievements of the previous one, and during the finals in Glasgow, we will submit a petition for the establishment of the World Electromobility Day by the United Nations at the COP26 Climate Summit in Glasgow, to the UN Undersecretary for Climate.

«The eMobi Road to COP26» has been covered by the Honorary Patronage of the Minister of Climate and Environment, the Minister of Infrastructure and the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management.
